I'm Frankie Robinson.
I grew up in a bilingual home, speaking English and Japanese, and have always been fascinated with cultures different from my own. I have a knack for untangling complex problems into simple user-friendly solutions and have a reputation for innovative designs. My expertise is frequently sought to consult with other design teams to share my creative process and assist in the development of memorable design solutions that are KPI impactful. And I enjoy learning from and helping develop my coworkers, in particular, new teammates.
Building Community
Japan's Children's Day Festival
In an effort to rebuild the school community post-pandemic and raise funds for International Charter Academy of Georgia, I led the event coordination for the first Japan's Children's Day Festival in Georgia. Not only was the event a big hit, the school and school PTO were able to build relationships with local businesses and non-profit organizations, including the Japan-America Society of Georgia. In fact, this video was created by a volunteer from JASG.

I redesigned and am maintaining the site to increase membership and inspire parent involvement. I am also overseeing the various committees and collaborating with the school board to ensure the needs of the school are met.

To encourage culturally aware training designs, I volunteer with the Valent Culture Team within AT&T University to co-plan speaking and panelist events around various cultural topics.

I provide job shadow opportunities to new designers and schedule 1x1 meetings to identify upskill opportunities, review designs, and provide support. See feedback from a mentee.

I have been nominated to present or consult on design solutions. Consultations have included project management processes, design tool tutorials, and the script writing/development process for videos.

Founder and Facilitator of an Online Professional Development Network

I hosted online professional development opportunities for over 7,000 teachers worldwide. I also collaborated with authors and experts on various topics to host webinars and additional support.
