My design experience varies from website development to corporate training development. In all capacities, I carried similar responsibilities and held myself accountable for meeting deadlines and avoiding scope creep. My responsibilities included:

  • Leading design teams of 4-7 members.

  • Leading 4 designers through the design and development of the Consumer Centers Leadership Training Site that was launched to all AT&T call center leadership worldwide.

  • Creating wireframes using Adobe Illustrator when collaborating with a programming team.

  • Leading 4 designers through 160 website maintenance tasks and utilizing a taskboard to track progress and address blockers.

  • Leading 7 designers through the design and development of a 32 hour/8 day training course for integrated solutions managers at AT&T.

  • Collaborate with the AT&T Media Productions team through the development of training videos. During video shoots, I create the shot list and direct the shots around variables, such as costumes and location.

  • Working closely with clients and SMEs to ensure content and design is on track and to avoid redesign and scope creep.

  • Organizing all project tasks into work items within Azure DevOps and creating custom dashboards to facilitate weekly design team meetings.

  • Collaborating with other designers to ensure that all components of a product have consistent elements while still embracing design differences.

  • Developing eLearning using products such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suites, and WordPress.

  • Developing animated videos using Vyond or Adobe Premiere Pro.

FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPER

As a front-end developer for Research Solutions, I worked along-side a team of programmers as we transitioned the business processes of clients from paper-based to an electronic system. Committed to meeting deadlines and the needs of the clients, I scoped and managed my work. My responsibilities included:

Teaching is a thankless job and can be easily isolating. Through the Educator's Book Club, I was able to connect teachers from around the world with other like-minded individuals while we worked towards bettering our skills as educators. My responsibilities include:

  • Identifying the needs of the teachers in the group

  • Identify text and materials that align with their needs

  • Plan, develop, and implement an ongoing workshop that revolves around one central product (usually a book) that all members are able to purchase

  • Engage members through unique methods on a weekly basis.

  • Contacting SMEs, such as authors, to be guest speakers towards the end of the eight week long workshops
